Lynden, Washington
Lynden is located in the northwest corner of Washington State, in a broad river valley with views of the North Cascades and the Canadian Coastal range. Within Lynden, you’ll find signs of the Dutch heritage in the decorating, ornamental windmills and Dutch Mother’s Restaurant, well known for their delicious homemade pies. Lynden was established in 1871, on the Nooksack River and currently has a population of approximately 12,000. The area surrounding area contains dairy farms and berry farms, which produce a large portion of the country’s raspberries (approximately 75%), along with strawberries and blueberries.
